best london spots for a fashion-insider

Former Fashion Director of Tatler and Vogue Magazine, Anna Bromilow is based in London and has a fashion resume most would kill for. Protégé of the late (and great) Isabella Blow, Anna spent many years her life jet-setting around for Conde Nast publications from glamorous shoots to international fashion shows. After having her first baby, Anna changed directions and became personal stylist to Elle Macpherson and then launched LITTLE CIRCLE – an online childrenswear boutique with the most gorgeous selection of kids clothes. Ever. We had to steal her little black book of where to go in London, exclusively for The Chosen Club, here's Anna's best spots for a fashion insider. You can shop Anna's store here: https://littlecircle.co.uk/

1 kenwood-hamstead-heath

Kenwood, Hamstead

On the edge of Hampstead Heath, Kenwood is one of London's hidden gems- with breathtaking interiors and a stunning art collection (free for everyone to enjoy). I grew up close by and it holds wonderful memories for me. It's also an incredible spot to take my 3 children now. A white washed, wedding cake of a stately home- ideal for Sunday walks!

2 Everyman Cinemas-hamstead heath

Everyman Cinema

There is nothing I love more than sneaking off to the cinema with my husband for a cozy low-key evening. We normally jog there, grab a large glass of prosecco and a pizza and have a real chill out. It always feels like SUCH a treat, particularly after just having had our last baby. Everyman Cinema is a small, arthouse feeling cinema with velvet curtains and a dark bar.

3 The Fumoir At Claridge's, Mayfair, London

The Fumoir Bar, Claridges

I’ll always have an affinity with this place. Vogue House is round the corner and the Fumoir Bar here felt like our canteen when I worked with Isabella Blow! She was always to be found there, so many an impromptu meeting happened there in it’s dark splendour. I also had my wedding afterparty there, so it holds a huge amount of wonderful memories. And it is visually breathtaking. Deco heaven that never fails to transport and inspire.

4 Vaishaly-facials-london

I never go anywhere else to have my eyebrows done and love Vaishaly- she's a total beauty-insider's go-to in London. Her facials are just the best, though it’s been a while since I’ve had the time to treat myself. They’ve just opened nail bar next door so it’s a one stop shop. I take my kids they love it there and all the amazing staff who have watched them grow up.

5 sketch-london

A no-brainer great spot for drinks with the girls. I also organized countless shoots in there, even in the fab loos. David Shrigley’s Gallery is Instagram heaven. Tea there is glorious. I’m seriously going through a pink moment so it’s a full interior candy.

Perfectly formed and always exciting exhibitions on.

7 Kj's Laundry-london

Kj's Laundry

My go-to for effrotless daywear. Owned my a gorgeous friend of mine and where I spot new Ula Johnson and Masscob must haves. Also good for fine gold jewellery and candles. And I love the fact its practically next door to the Ivy Cafe Marylebone.

8 anthropologie-london

I love this shop for homewear. Incredible texture and colour and their windows are always a treat to see. They also have great events on.

9 Isabelle-Maurant-Bruton-Street

Isabel Marant

Bruton Street is my fav for high-end shopping, with Stella and Isabel so close to each other. I’ve always loved the Isabel aesthetic and invest in a pair of shoes every season. It’s a pretty calming retail space and I generally want to buy the entire shop.

10 Gillian Horsup who’s costume jewellery

I love Gillian Horsup who’s costume jewelry. I used it the whole time for shoots at Tatler. She’s a warm, thoughtful individual with incredible one-off pieces so it’s always a joy to go in there and hunt down vintage Chanel and gold snake bracelets.
