When former editor-in-chief of all Vogue Italia’s special issues, Carla Sozzani opened a concept store in Milan 1991 it quickly became a hot landmark in the city. Mixing luxury fashion from Prada, Gucci, Comme des Garçons, besides limited editions ceramics, photography and food (which was revolutionary at the time), ever since it is one of the trendiest stores on the planet – predominantly with fashion insiders. Now just open in New York City’s Seaport District, and already a magnet to Conde Nast editors and the city’s creatives- Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington were at the launch- 10 Corso Como includes an Italian restaurant and bar and 28,000-square-foot of innovative retail space.
