Blue Box Café is our new must-visit spot for a girls trip to NYC.

Blue Box Café, New York

Since the iconic 1961 film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” almost every girl has whimsically dreamt of having a croissant and coffee while wearing a ball gown and diamond shopping in the morning. Now you actually can. In November 2017, Tiffany opened the Blue Box Café at the brand’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue and 57th Street and so we headed over to check it out. Located up on the 4th Floor, the café is decked out in elegant hues of that iconic Tiffany blue- a color so instantly recognizable that it’s actually trademarked. With reservations only available online or through the Resy app, there’s been much speculation about what breakfast or afternoon tea is actually like as it’s so hard to get in. Luckily for late sleepers, they serve their breakfast menu all day, set at $29 (for coffee/tea, croissant, fruit, and a dish of choice), we’d highly recommend the truffle eggs and the bagel and lox. Everything is served on pretty Tiffany China plates and the high tea (set at $49) makes for a wonderful girls day treat. Go as a life-long dream…

INSIDER’S TIP: Get Resy app, set “notify” for this restaurant, and the app will give you a heads up when there’s availability.
RESERVATIONS: Can be made 30 days in advance- although they are still hard to get (breakfast at 4pm, anyone?)
VIBE: A special occasion spot. Perfect for a birthday or girls trip- not a weekly staple kind of place.
