Lech's luxurious Hotel Arlberg is world-renowned for having best service and warm Austrian hospitality...

Hotel Arlberg, Lech

This old-world hotel in Lech is where Princess Diana always stayed and exemplifies a different kind of ski luxury from other European resorts that are all Chanel skis and baby pink mink coats. Small, intimate, refined, it’s owned by the Schneider family and is tastefully ‘old-money’. With the traditional Austrian wood-lodge charm that made Lech famous, inside there’s been a recent modern chalet style makeover and (even if you’re not staying here) you should pop to the cozy hotel bar for a stiff night cap. The new rooms are all uber-comfortable and come kitted out with L‘Occitane beauty products- which are perfect for a post-ski pampering. Oh and did we mention there’s an outdoor Jacuzzi, bio sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, solarium, infrared cabin and relaxation lounge too?
