Behind this grand 1920's bank facade lies the new 'need to know' establishment from the Soho House Group...

The Ned, London

A seriously high-end spot, with 252 bedrooms, nine restaurants, a nail salon, a male grooming centre, a members’ area and bank vault (open to guests, too) called Ned’s Club, a rooftop pool, a gym, a boxing room, a spa, a hammam and a late night lounge bar: The Ned is the new ‘need-to-know’ hotel in London. A baby of the Soho House Group and the Sydell Group (a US business behind The NoMad in New York), it was always going to be hot. Located in the heart of London’s financial district in a spectacular Grade I-listed building, formerly Midland Bank, it’s named after the original building’s architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens – otherwise known as Ned.
