A five bedroom private residence amid Tulum's lush tropical jungles and ancient Mayan ruins...

Tulum Treehouse, Tulum

Inspired by the natural beauty of  Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, Berlin-based designer Annabell Kutucu has used furnishings made by a local family of carpenters (who upcycle waste wood from the tropical region of Veracruz) to transform this simple jungle house into a small yet perfectly formed boutique residence. You’ve probably seen Kutucu’s work before- she designed the perennially cool Scorpios in Mykonos, and Greece’s chic Casa Cook hotel. Tulum Treehouse is made for today’s nomads- who want genuine local experiences. Perfect for families or small groups, it can be rented in two configurations: three bedrooms or five. From the cocoon-like hammocks to outdoor showering under the stars-  it’s a stunning retreat.
